Terms of Service

Last updated 11 September 2026

These terms cover using IndieProfile. They are deliberately short. By signing in you agree to them.

What the service is

IndieProfile gives you a public profile listing who you are and what you build. It is free, and it is early — features will change and occasionally break.

Your account

You need an X account to sign in, and you are responsible for what happens under yours. Your IndieProfile username is assigned when your profile is created and is not currently editable. One account per person; do not impersonate anyone.

What you publish

Everything you add stays yours. By putting it on your profile you are asking us to display it publicly, which is the entire purpose of the service.

You are responsible for what you publish. Do not post:

  • Anything unlawful, hateful, or harassing
  • Someone else's work or identity presented as your own
  • Malware, scams, or links intended to deceive
  • Revenue figures or claims you know to be false

Revenue figures are self-reported and we do not verify them. Nothing on a profile should be treated as audited.

Moderation

We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these terms. For anything short of clear abuse we will try to tell you why first.

Availability

The service is provided as-is, with no guarantee of uptime and no warranty. We are not liable for losses arising from using it, from it being unavailable, or from content someone else published. Keep your own copy of anything you would be unhappy to lose.

Ending it

You can stop using IndieProfile whenever you like and ask us to delete your account. We may discontinue the service, and will give notice if we do.

Changes

These terms will change as the product does. The date at the top is when they last did, and continuing to use the service means accepting the current version.
